Once again this year, our year 10 students attended the Bstreetsmart Excursion at Qudos Bank Arena. This experience is truly such an important step in educating our young drivers on the importance of safe choices and safe driving. Bstreetsmart is an initiative by Westmead Hospital’s Trauma Department, designed to reduce crashes among young drivers. With road accidents being a leading cause of death and serious injury among young people, its aim is to educate and empower young drivers to make safer choices. The day uses interactive experiences and real-life crash survivor stories in the hope of building a safer future for everyone.

A massive thank you to Khushi from UNSW for joining us at the latest edition of our popular Lunch & Learn session and inspiring the next generation of women in engineering! Khushi shared her personal journey into engineering, including why she chose this dynamic field, the exciting design and innovation projects she’s been involved in, and the countless future possibilities—from sustainable infrastructure to biomedical devices. Khushi highlighted the diverse world of engineering — from biomedical and civil engineering, to food science, renewable energy and more. She explained the importance of studying mathematics and the common transferable skills in all these engineering pathways - creative thinking, problem solving, systems design, and collaborative teamwork - that drive change across industries. Students were also introduced to the UNSW Young Women in Engineering Club, along with early entry and admission pathway programs available for students in Years 11 and 12. Thank you, Khushi, for showing what’s possible for our College's young women aspiring to this dynamic and exciting pathway. Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese

Isabella Soriano (Class of 2022) truly inspired our big Lunch and Learn audience as she shared her journey in law and community services. Now in her third year of a double degree in Laws and Social Science at Macquarie University, Bella spoke candidly about her pathway since graduation — a path driven by purpose and her passion for making a difference. From working in law, local government and community services, Bella has gained extensive experience across a range of sectors. Students loved hearing her real-life insights on: - juggling uni, work and life - the power of routine and resilience - navigating uncertainty after Year 12 - the importance of trying different roles - building networks and making brave first steps Bella reminded us that it's okay not to have it all figured out — what matters is being open to possibilities, working hard and staying true to yourself and your values. Thank you Bella for your time and mentorship of our students - it was wonderful to welcome you back to CCC! Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese

A huge shoutout to our amazing Year 10 Commerce students for their incredible work on the $20 BOSS Business and Social Enterprise Project for 2025! From planning and prototyping to pricing, marketing, and styling your stalls — you absolutely nailed Mega Market Day. Even when the delivery hiccups gave you a taste of the real business world! Thanks to this hard work (and the brilliant support of our Yr 7–12 students, staff, and families), we’re proud to announce that $2,075.50 will be donated to St Vincent de Paul, after covering start-up and legacy payments. What a fantastic achievement! You should all be so proud. Thank you to the Young Change Agents Organisation for supporting the $20 Boss program. - From the Commerce teachers; Mrs Rowe, Ms Dunne & Ms Devlin Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese

🍼🐑 We’re excited to share some adorable news. Triplet lambs were born over the weekend! Proud mum Dior is doing well and caring for her three new babies with love and patience. The arrival of these little lambs has brought lots of excitement and joy to our Ag students, who are already helping to keep them warm, fed, and safe. What a beautiful reminder of the wonder of life and the importance of care in agriculture. 🐑💛 Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese

On Monday night, Year 12 Dance and Drama students presented their major works including Core Composition, Major Study Performance, Core Performance, Group Performance, 1 Monologue and 2 Video Dramas. Year 12 should be proud of their achievements in their HSC course. The staff at the College encourage them to continue to work on these works and to apply the feedback given to them from their teachers (Mrs Hughes and Mr Cassel) as they approach their practical exams in the upcoming weeks. Lovely job girls! Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese
