On Thursday, the 22nd of May, all Year 7 went to the ABC studios to watch the Sydney Symphony Orchestra perform, and it was amazing!
They played many different orchestral pieces that created many different sounds and a lot of excitement.
Before they ended the performance the conductor asked all the students to have a go at conducting in their seats, watching the conductor and copying his exact moves, trying to stay in time.
Then the orchestra repeated the final piece and the conductor chose students to come down and actually conduct the orchestra themselves.
From Caroline Chisholm College, Myra Khan was picked to play the first part and did a great job.
