Our Year 12 students are in their final days at Caroline Chisholm College, and they are certainly making every moment count! Today was ‘Dress Like a Teacher Day’, and our Year 12 students did a fabulous job replicating some of the teachers who have been such an important part of their school journey! Some students channelled their Year Leader, Mrs Rossetto while others transformed themselves into their Homeroom Teacher, Mr Cassel. Our beloved Science teacher Mrs Koz was also replicated, along with our sports teachers Ms Muscat, Mrs Hodges and Mr McIlveen. And Mrs Petrovski certainly wasn't left out of the fun, with a fantastic Year 12 look-alike. From the outfits and hairstyles to the mannerisms and personalities, our Year 12s certainly put plenty of effort into capturing their chosen teachers - and the results were fabulous! Even our Year 12 Homeroom team got into the spirit of the day by dressing as students! It’s hard to believe their time at Caroline Chisholm College is almost over. We’re loving seeing the laughter, friendships and memories being made during these final days. Keep making those memories, Year 12 - we’re so proud of you!

We are incredibly proud of our talented Visual Arts students who had their works entered into the 2026 Penrith Show Art Competition. Students from Years 7-11 represented Caroline Chisholm College, showcasing their creativity, dedication, and skills across a range of artworks. The Penrith Show provides a wonderful opportunity for young artists to enter a range of categories, allowing them to have their works viewed and judged alongside entries from other artists in the community. A huge congratulations to all students who entered, with a number of our girls receiving 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places, as well as Highly Commended recognition across their categories. We are so proud of everyone who participated and congratulate our students for embracing opportunities to share their art beyond the school environment.

🎓 Year 12 Graduation Liturgy & Awards Ceremony We come together to celebrate the Class of 2026 and mark this special milestone in their journey, as we recognise, reflect, celebrate and honour the achievements of our graduating students. 📅 Wednesday, 23 September 🕓 4:00 PM 📍 Caroline Chisholm College – Performance Centre We look forward to sharing this special occasion with our Year 12 community. 🎓 This is a ticketed event. 🎓 Year 12 Farewell As we farewell our Year 12 students, we come together to celebrate their journey, achievements and the memories they have made throughout their time at school. On their final day, our Year 12 students will enjoy a special Year 12 Breakfast, followed by their final Year 12 meeting - a chance to reflect, celebrate and say goodbye to an important chapter of their lives. We wish the Class of 2026 all the very best for their future. May the next chapter bring you success, happiness and many new opportunities! 🎓

Year 8 Science had a great time putting their knowledge of volcanoes into practice with our Thunder Island Eruption Challenge 🌋 Students took on different roles as seismic, ground deformation, and well water/weather experts. Each expert group received new data as the situation on Thunder Island developed, before reporting back to their Eruption Control Centre to decide whether the warning level needed to be raised. As the data changed, teams had to work out which of the island’s two volcanoes was becoming active, which communities were at risk, and where volcanic ash was likely to travel based on the weather conditions. It was great to see students getting into their expert roles, discussing the evidence and working together to make some pretty important decisions for the people of Thunder Island!

Congratulations to Year 12 student Georgia K for receiving two Callback nominations for her HSC Practical Dance exams. Callback is the showcase for exemplary HSC practical works from the 2026 HSC exams. Georgia was nominated for Major Study Performance and Core Composition. Special mention must also go to Lillie S from Year 11, who was Georgia's Core Composition dancer. Congratulations again Georgia. We are very proud of your effort, determination and application.

Leaders’ Commissioning Ceremony Yesterday, we proudly gathered as a College community for our Leaders’ Commissioning Ceremony, recognising and celebrating the students who have been entrusted with leadership for the year ahead. The ceremony was a beautiful opportunity to formally commission our student leaders and remind them of the responsibility that comes with serving their peers and College community. We encourage our leaders to lead with Faith, Courage, Tolerance, Dignity, Compassion, and Justice, following in the footsteps of our patron, Caroline Chisholm. We congratulate all of our student leaders and look forward to seeing the positive impact they will make throughout the year. Congratulations to our 2027 College Leaders! We wish you every success as you embrace this important role and lead by example.

Our Year 7 students enjoyed learning how to do tricks using kendama - a traditional Japanese wooden toy made up of a handle & cross piece with cups connected to a wooden ball with a string. It was tricky, but some students were able to combine several tricks together!
