Learning at Caroline Chisholm
Caroline Chisholm is a place where curiosity, imagination and love of learning thrive through working together to provide the most effective, engaging and challenging learning experiences for students.
As one of the 80 Catholic schools in the Diocese of Parramatta, we’re working together to transform learning for students in Greater Western Sydney. This means reimagining and refreshing learning and teaching for today’s world and today’s learners.
The purpose and promise of a Catholic education is to inspire each learner - student, teacher and family - to discover a meaningful and flourishing life.
Our Faith Journey
Caroline Chisholm is a great place for students to grow in faith and learning. We value each student as an individual and share the values of the Gospel to help them discover the hope that is within and to experience a meaningful and flourishing life.
Our Faith Journey
Beyond the classroom
We believe it is important for students to pursue interests to find what they are passionate about. Our school gives them exposure to a range of exciting opportunities to unlock their creative potential, develop a talent or follow a passion.
Sport
Sport is a valued part of a school’s curriculum, contributing to the development of the whole child by providing a vehicle for social, physical, emotional and moral learning. Participation, enjoyment and skill development are the cornerstones of school sport. Representative pathways are also available through the Parramatta Diocesan Secondary Schools Sports Council.

Bring Your Own Device (BYOD)
Caroline Chisholm College is a BYOD school. The aim of the program is to give your daughter the option to use a device she is comfortable with, and use it as a tool to give her more ownership over her learning.
Our BYOD Portal has all the information you will need on requirements when purchasing a device.
Student Leadership
Experiencing leadership gives students confidence, celebrates strengths and prepares young people to make a contribution to our community and world. Caroline Chisholm offers a number of leadership opportunities both as part of and in addition to our curriculum.
School Uniform
Our students are ambassadors for Caroline Chisholm and wear their uniforms with pride. Learn about our school uniform and how to make a purchase.
Subject Selection
Making subject selections in Stages 5 and 6, is an opportunity for students to broaden their experiences and follow areas in which they have a passion.
We provide students and parents with information about the educational opportunities available at the College to help students make the best choices.
Careers Guidance
Our Partnerships and Pathways Team work with the students to explore their options for careers, further study, apprenticeships and traineeships.
Staff assist with resumes, applications and interview skills and explore connections with universities, businesses and community groups. A great starting point is our Careers Portal.
Parents as Partners
Strong partnerships between home, parish and school support students to grow in faith and learning. We recognise parents and carers as each student’s most influential, primary and essential educators.
